Matassa 'Coume de l'Olla' VDF Blanc, 2024

This wine is a blend of Macabeu, Muscat d'Alexandria, and Muscat Petit Grain, from the biodynamic mastermind of the Roussillon, Tom Lubbe. It is the same blend as its bigger sister Cuvée Marguerite, but as a single vineyard situated on clay, and lime soils instead of schist. As such, it is a slightly fresher expression with bright tropical and orchard fruit like nectarine and ripe yellow peaches, with a feather-like quality on the palate. Pair it with sweet and sour pork, and grilled leeks drizzled with soy sauce.
